Iowa Mennonite School freshman Eli Ours started his career with a big season for the IMS baseball team.

Ours ranked in the top 10 of the Southeast Iowa Superconference in four different offensive categories while hitting in the heart of a lineup that advanced to the substate final. Out of the three spot most of the year, Ours finished second in the conference with 27 walks, third in on base percentage with a mark of .567, seventh in runs scored with 27 and eighth in the SEISC with 16 stolen bases. He also hit a team leading .362. IMS finished the year with a 16-10 overall record.
