Ambrashia Chrzan

The sentencing for a Riverside woman convicted of child endangerment resulting in death is this Friday.

A jury trial found 30-year-old Ambrashia Chrzan guilty on May 18th of child endangerment resulting in the death of her 17-month-old daughter Avery McCoy. The state prosecution sought to prove Chrzan lacked in giving Avery enough food and appropriate health care which significantly contributed to her death. The crime is considered a class B felony and Chrzan could face up to 50 years in prison. The sentencing hearing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Washington County Courthouse.
