A Sigourney man who pled guilty to stalking a 16-year-old Webster girl received a deferred judgment in accordance to a plea agreement.

On July 20th 25-year-old Daniel Julian Gragg received a penalty of five years probation and restitution fees not to exceed $1,000 including a civil penalty of $750 for his guilty plea of stalking a minor. A no contact order with the minor has also been ordered. If Gragg successfully completes his probation, the stalking charge will be dismissed and the conviction will be expunged from his record. A charge of sexual exploitation of a minor was dismissed. According to an affidavit from the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies investigated incidences of vandalism at the residence of the minor and threatening Facebook messages sent to her from different accounts that were traced back to Gragg. A search warrant was executed at Gragg’s residence, and nude photographs of the minor were found on his phone.
