Severe weather rolled through southeast Iowa on Thursday.

At around 3p.m. a tornado watch was issued for the western portion of the KCII listening area through 10p.m. A tornado warning was issued for Keokuk county at 4:54p.m. and Jefferson county at 5:26p.m. The National Weather Service did not receive any damage reports from storms in these areas. With rain showers throughout the day, the city of Washington received 1.75″ of rainfall. Friday’s forecast is calling for a chance of showers and thunderstorms across southeast Iowa.
