With an 18-8 loss to Danville in the first round of the playoffs, the Winfield Mt. Union baseball team completed their third straight single-digit win season.

This was the lowest win total of those three seasons, notching just one victory against Danville in the regular season.  19 of their 23 losses on the year were by 10 runs or more, nine of which were shutouts.

The Wolves hit .189 as a team, and teams hit .325 against their pitching staff.  Wolf pitchers gave up an overall earned run average of 10.36 and walked or hit 47 more batters than they struck out.

WMU says goodbye to two seniors, Tristan Kaufman and Mitchell Niebuhr.
