A review of the budget and information for the Kewash Nature Trail spur project is on the agenda for this month’s Washington County Conservation Board meeting.

The board will consider contracting with LL Pelling Co. to do asphalt repairs and enhancements on the Kewash Nature Trail totaling no more than $92,500 and will look at a September 4th date for closing the trail to public use. The meeting agenda also includes a resolution regarding a 28E agreement providing conservation employees Zach Rozmus and Jayse Horning county-wide peace officer jurisdiction, and a resolution to release the easement for the westernmost approximately 500 feet of the Kewash Nature Trail. The board meets at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the conservation education center at Marr Park.
