Are you aspiring to be the next Stan Lee, or simply want to use your creative and artistic skills in a new way?

The Washington Public Library is hosting a comic book workshop this month for those sixth grade and up. Teen Services Librarian Kayla Cook is leading the workshop, “So they are going to be learning the basics of comic books, creating their own. So we’re going to start with storyboarding and writing their own scripts, moving on to paneling and drawing and then they will be able to make their own works.”

No prior skills or knowledge in comic book writing is necessary and there is no cost to attend or registration required. The workshop will be held Wednesdays August 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 4-5 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
