The Highland pitching staff was one of the best in the state this year when it came to missing bats.

The Huskies posted 239 strikeouts as a staff, ninth most in class 1A. Brody Burton led the Southeast Iowa Superconference with 83 strikeouts, 10th most in the state, in just 44 innings of work.
