The Iowa Mennonite School softball team ended the 2018 season with a 3-16 overall record.

In their best stretch of the season they swept a doubleheader from Mediapolis on the road June 27th by 7-3 and 9-6 scores. On the season IMS hit .267 as a team, led by Avery Blauvelt and her .429 average. Blauvelt also led IMS with 21 total hits, a .694 slugging percentage, .508 on base percentage, 13 RBI and two home runs.

In the circle senior Hannah Harris and eighth grader Leah Bontrager split time. Harris suffered an injury during the season that did not allow her to continue pitching but before the injury she had a 1-10 record in 63 innings with a 5.78 ERA, striking out 26 and walking 32 in that time. Bontrager threw 22 innings with a 1-4 record and 11.45 ERA, striking out 10 and walking 39.

Iowa Mennonite had five players named all-conference including Blauvelt, Rubye Ney, Mia Graber, Suzanna Yoder and Harris. IMS wrapped up their season in the first round of the playoffs, falling at Lone Tree.
