The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team ended the 2018 season with a 4-29 overall record.

Their best stretch of the year came in early June when they won a pair of conference games over Tipton and Cascade. The Golden Hawks hit .276 as a team, led by Rylee Vercande and her .408 average, 10th best in the River Valley Conference. She also led the team with 42 total hits, 18 RBI, 18 runs scored and 13 stolen bases.

The Golden Hawks had a team ERA of 3.23. Cassidy Rourke led the Golden Hawks, throwing 122 innings during the year with a 3-21 overall record, striking out a team best 59 batters. Abbi Patterson had the team lead in ERA with a 2.47 mark in 34 innings thrown.

Mid-Prairie had four all-conference selections including Georgia Nisly, Anna Vilovchik, Patterson and Vercande. Mid-Prairie was eliminated in the opening round of the playoffs by Williamsburg.
