Megan Mitchell played her final softball season for Washington this year.  And boy, was it a way to go out.

After finishing with a .271 average in conference play a season ago, Mitchell broke that number in spades, improving it by almost 200 points (.463).  Her 25 hits in league play was good for second in the conference, and her 11 RBI put her at a tie for seventh.  She also finished with a .508 on-base percentage, good for third in the conference.

Now that high school is said and done, Mitchell is off to the University of Iowa with hopes of getting into the pharmaceutical program.  She does not plan to continue her softball career.
