Description: Red Fern Farm is hosting a tree crop field day with Practical Farmers of Iowa on Wednesday September 5th from 1-4 p.m. on their farm near Wapello. The field day will focus on a few specific tree crops that have the potential to be profitable niche crops, including chestnut, pawpaw, American persimmon, heartnut and Asian pear.
