The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks had two players recognized by the River Valley Conference for their work on the baseball diamond this summer with all-conference selections.

Mid-Prairie sophomore Brad Tornow was an All-South Division selection in the outfield. Tornow led Mid-Prairie, hitting .303 this year, with 23 total hits, 16 runs scored, 11 RBI, 20 walks and 10 stolen bases. Defensively, he finished the year with 19 total assists, most of those coming from centerfield. On the mound, Tornow ended with a 4-4 record and 1.69ERA in 45 innings of work while striking out 70 batters.

Mid-Prairie junior Rex Peck was an honorable mention All-South Division selection. Peck hit .205 this year with 15 total hits, seven RBI, 10 walks and two runs scored. Behind the plate he finished fourth in the state throwing out 11 base runners.

The Golden Hawks ended the season with a 12-17 overall record.
