After picking up a week zero victory in Janesville last week, the WACO Warrior football team will hit the road again tonight to take on Iowa Valley.

These two teams played the last game of the season against one another in Marengo a year ago; Iowa Valley won that game 76-61.  Now, the Warriors head back to the place their season ended last year knowing exactly what to expect.

“They’re fresh in our head.  We have a pretty good idea of what they’re going to do,” head coach Chad Edeker said.

“They’re going to be a power team; Iowa Valley is going to line up in at least one tight end, if not two tight ends, and run the ball downhill.  That’s exactly what they did to us last year.”

Due to impending weather, the game’s initial start time of 7:00 has been moved up to 6:00.
