After winning just one game this season, the Winfield-Mt. Union baseball team had three players selected for the Superconference’s all-conference teams for the north division.

WMU didn’t have any first-teamers, but they did get one second-teamer in Brody Barton.  Barton had a solid year at the plate in his freshman season, finishing as the lone wolf to hit above the .300 threshold.  He was also the only member of the team to finish with double-digit hits against conference opponents.

The Wolves also had two honorable mentions in Bryant Holtkamp and Christian Gerot.  Holtkamp was the team’s leader in stolen bases throughout conference play with 9, but Gerot, despite having just five steals against conference opponents, led the team throughout the entirety of the season with 11.

All three all-conference selections will return next season.
