It was a knock-down-drag-out affair Friday in Sigourney, but the Cobras collected a 22-14 victory over the Albia Blue Demons.

The Cobras took an early 6-0 lead but Albia responded with a pair of touchdowns including a 90-yard punt return in the first half to take a 14-6 lead into the break. In the second half SK continued to pound away on the ground, mounting a pair of scoring drives to secure the win. The Cobras got a monster game from Carson Crawford as he put up 262 yards and a touchdown on the ground. With the win, SK is now 2-1 on the year as they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg next week.
