The Iowa River is continuing to flood areas of Louisa County.

A flood warning is in effect at Columbus Junction until Tuesday. Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast according to the National Weather Service. As of Wednesday the water was at 20.9 feet and rising, flood stage is 19 feet. It is expected to rise to 23 feet Friday. Flood warnings are also in effect for the Iowa River at Wapello and Oakville, and the Cedar River at Conesville. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
