Just before noon on Friday the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery at the US Bank located at 301 East Washington Street in Mount Pleasant.

A male suspect took an undisclosed amount of money. He did not display a weapon. The suspect fled the scene in a pickup northbound from the bank. Authorities are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with tips to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 319-385-1450. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
