The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team made it four straight match wins on Tuesday with a road victory at Pekin.

After winning three of four over the weekend at the Wilton tournament, IMS knocked off the Panthers in four sets 24-26, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-17. Tonight, IMS will be back on the court when they welcome Wapello to Hillcrest Union. Iowa Mennonite stands at 9-6 on the year. They are led individually by Rubye Ney with 75 kills, sixth most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Sami Miller is best on the team and seventh in the Superconference with 110 assists. Suzanna Yoder leads the team and is fifth in the state with 171 digs.

Wapello comes into tonight with an overall record of 5-5. The Arrows beat Highland Tuesday in a match that went the distance. The Arrows took it by scores of 27-25, 25-27, 21-25, 25-19 and 15-9, behind 11 kills from Denalyn Lanz, 34 assists from Holly Massner and 15 digs from Serah Shaefer. On the year, Wapello is led by Lanz with 47 kills, 10th most in the Superconference. Massner leads the Superconference with 175 assists. Sam Smith leads the Wapello defense with 51 digs.

These two teams met three times a year ago with the Arrows taking two of three. Action begins tonight at 7:30 at Hillcrest Union in Kalona.
