The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams were both on the course Tuesday when they traveled to Knoll Ridge Golf Course in North English for the EV Invitational.

The IMS boys finished in fourth place in the team standings with an overall score of 144 points. Tipton won the team title with 21 points. Top finish for the IMS boys was Brian Nchoe in 11th with a time of 20:09. Other IMS finishers included Noah Miller 23rd, Jacob Boller 26th, John Hughes 45th, Jesse Slater 63rd, Aaron Hershberger 64th, Tobias Chen 67th and Collin Miller 88th.

The Iowa Mennonite girls also finished fourth in the team race with their overall score of 105 points. Tipton won the girls title with 38 points. Leah Bontrager paced the IMS girls with an 11th place finish in 24:42. Other finishers for IMS included Sarena Gerber 23rd, Esther Hughes 25th, Julia Boller 45th and Rachel Geyer 51st.

IMS will next be in action at Center Point-Urbana Tuesday.
