The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams were on the course Thursday at Waterworks Park in Fairfield.

The IMS boys finished in fourth place with 112 points. Pekin won the team title with 31 points. Noah Miller led the IMS boys with an 11th place finish and a time of 19:43. Other top finishes for IMS included Brian Nchoe 16th, Jacob Boller 18th, John Hughes 30th, Jesse Slater 37th, Tobias Chen 44th and Micah Miller 53rd.

The Iowa Mennonite girls were third with 125 points. Pekin also won the girls team title with 35 points. Top finish for the IMS girls came from Leah Bontrager in 9th at 22:35. Other top IMS girls finishes included Sarena Gerber 14th, Esther Hughes 28th, Mackenzie Gutierrez 35th, Julia Boller 39th and Rachel Geyer 49th.

The IMS boys and girls will both be on the course Tuesday when they travel to English Valleys.
