After a recess the Washington County Board of Supervisors certified the August 28th special election results with a canvass Tuesday.

These were elections for a seat on the Crawfordsville City Council and Mid-Prairie School Board. In the race for Crawfordsville Council, Tom Conrad won the seat by a single vote over Cathy Williams. Conrad will fill the seat left vacant by John Burroughs. The term ends in December 2019. In the Mid-Prairie School Board, Election Emily Uhl was elected with 223 votes, 100 votes more than her competitor Randy Billups. Uhl will fill the seat vacated by George Schaefer with the term set to expire in 2019.
