The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team took to the road last night, beating Wapello in a thrilling five-set match-up 3-2.

The first set was taken by the Wolves by a 25-22 score.  Wapello would take both the second and fourth sets by the exact same score.  The third set was a different story from the rest, with WMU taking that one in a 25-8 blowout.  The fifth set was back to the same tightly-knit volleyball, with the Wolves ultimately pulling away and taking it 15-7.

Jenna Buffington led the way with 15 kills and five ace serves.  Kayla Edwards was the top assister, posting 26 throughout the match.

The win brings the Wolves up to 3-3 on the year.  Their next action comes next Saturday at the Wilton tournament.
