Turner Shines in Junior Season

A year ago, Washington’s Luke Turner was just a sophomore.  He was beginning his second year on the varsity football team, having thrown one pass and done nothing else in game action the season before.  He got some reps in a blowout win in week one.  Then week two came along.  The Demons were up against Mid-Prairie when then-starter and senior Ryan Reighard went down with an injury that would sit him out for the rest of the year.  Out came Turner, and the rest, as they say, is history.
