Washington County Conservation Director Steve Anderson has announced his retirement.

At Thursday’s Washington County Conservation Board meeting Anderson announced he will be retiring at the end of this year. Anderson has been with the Washington County Conservation Board since 1984 and is only the second executive director since the conservation board was made official in 1962. The search for the next director has begun and the board hopes to make a hire in December.
