The Washington County votes have been tallied and with 45.3% of the county voting for the bond measure for Washington County Public Health the measure fails.

Three new faces will be on the Washingotn City Council in 2016. Brendan DeLong is the new Ward 3 council member, Kerry Janecek will take the Ward 1 seat over incumbent Bob Shepherd by nine votes, and Millie Youngquist will hold the At Large seat.

The City of Riverside’s new mayor is Allen Schneider. The three members elected to the Riverside City Council are Jeanine Redlinger and Rob Weber, Robert J. Schneider, Jr. is the only incumbent to retain his position.

In the City of Wellman, the three incumbents held on to their roles and Bob Freeman, Bob Goodrich and Tracy Owens will again serve on the council.
