Colder Than Normal Start to November

November in Washington is off to a colder than normal start. According to the National Weather Service, the average temperature in Washington the first two weeks of November has been 34.8 degrees, well below the normal of 42.6 degrees. The average maximum temperature is normally 53.5 degrees and it has been 10 degrees lower at 43 degrees this year. The record lowest average temperature for the same time period was 27.3 degrees in 1991.
