Eight Mid-Prairie football players found their way onto All-District teams in the 2018 season.

The Golden Hawks had a trio of first team selections including senior Justin Schwartz at running back. Schwartz, Mid-Prairie’s all-time leading receiver took over duties in the backfield in his final season and finished third in the district with a team best 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns on 200 carries.

Senior offensive lineman Chaz Patterson was also named to the first team. Patterson was part of an offensive line that allowed the Golden Hawks to gain 2,625 total yards, scoring 31 touchdowns, including 1,708 yards on the ground.

Mid-Prairie senior Grant Boyse was also a first team pick. Boyse led the Golden Hawks in tackles from his safety position with 55.5 tackles, eighth most in the district. He also intercepted a pair of passes on the season.

The Hawks had three second team picks including Jack Baker at defensive end. Baker had 42.5 total tackles, three for loss. Isaac Boucher, the anchor of the Golden Hawk offensive line was also a second team selection. Josh Wallington also earned second team honors. Wallington ended the season with 30.5 tackles, five for loss.

The Hawks had a pair of honorable mention picks in junior Brad Tornow at quarterback. He ended the season 58 of 138 for 816 yards and five touchdowns. Senior Rex Peck picked up an honorable mention selection at fullback, carving out holes for his teammates. Peck also carried the ball seven times for 63 yards and a pair of scores.

The Golden Hawks ended the season with a 3-6 overall record.
