The Highland Husky football team is riding high after a revenge game against Durant ended in a one-point victory, as a blocked extra point surged them on to the state quarterfinals.  Tonight, they have their toughest test of the year in unbeaten, number one Hudson.

The Huskies will face a high-powered Pirate offense that has put up an average of 36 points per game up to this point.  The Highland defense has been stout, however, only allowing just shy of 15 points per game in their ten-game season.

These teams each feature a top player in the state at the Class A level, with Hudson’s electrifying rusher Christian Seres on one end and the dynamic duel-threat Trey Lasek on the other.  The winner advances to the Dome.

Tonight’s game will air on all three KCII stations starting with the pregame show at 6:30.  Kickoff in Hudson is set for 7:00.
