Highland Boys to Kick Off Highly Anticipated Season

Iowa Mennonite Hosts Crusaders For Good Cause

The Iowa Mennonite School boys basketball team hosted Holy Trinity Catholic Friday for a Hall of Pride scrimmage at Hillcrest Union in Kalona.

Along with the basketball, the purpose of the event is to help out a local charity. Along with admission, patrons were asked to bring a canned item for donation to local food pantries in Wellman and Kalona. IMS won the game 60-49 and opens the season Tuesday against Lone Tree.
