Washington’s leaf vacuum will be operating into December. Washington Maintenance and Construction Superintendent JJ Bell anticipates December 7th at the last day of operation this season. Residents can rake their leaves into the terrace area, between the street and sidewalk, and the vacuum will then clean them up. The vacuum runs in a counterclockwise rotation around Washington. Also, remember to not put leaves in the road, as it can cause drainage issues in the city.
