The KCII Big Red Radio will make its third stop of the week on the Caring Christmas Food Drive Thursday.
The Big Red Radio will be at Archer Appliance and Electronics from 1 to 3 p.m. KCII General Manager Joe Nichols shares this is the 16th year of the KCII Caring Christmas Food Drive. He reminds people to check dates on food before donating, “Make sure you check the dates. They cannot take anything that has an expired date on it. So be very cautious of that. Especially if you’re donating food to our Caring Christmas Food Drive, because since we collect it in November and December, and we don’t deliver until January we want to make sure that you pay close attention to the expiration dates on anything that you have.” Donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items can be dropped of at KCII, at the Big Red Radio, or at participating businesses.
