The Columbus-Winfield-Mt. Union Wildcats, Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks and WACO Warriors hit the mat Satuday at the Jeremy Fulk Classic at New London High School.

The Wildcats had the top area finish of all competing teams, taking second with an overall score of 161.5. Louisa-Muscatine won the meet with 182 points. The Wildcats crowned two champions on the day with Jarad Kadel taking home the title at 138lbs by fall over Gage Connor of Louisa-Muscatine. Jose Cerezo scored another title for the Wildcats by 2-1 decision over David Murray of Mid-Prairie. Individual runners-up included Isaac Acosta at 113, Tucker Bright 132lbs, Chance Colby 182lbs and Chance Malone at 220lbs.

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were third of five teams with a score of 128 points. The Hawks crowned one champion on the day with Isaac Boucher taking the title at 220lbs over Chance Malone of Columbus-Winfield-Mt. Union by 7-3 decision. Individual runners-up included Dallas Miller at 126, David Murray at 152, Cael Garvey at 160, and Josh Wallington at 195lbs.

The WACO Warriors took fourth place with 123 points. The Warriors crowned a pair of champs on the day with Jonah Clark taking the title at 120lbs by fall over Marcus Moedano of Louisa-Muscatine. Jalen Collins was the champ at 126lbs with his fall against Dallas Miller of Mid-Prairie. Runners-up for the Warriors included Jaden Williams at 145 and Kade McKinney at 285lbs.

Columbus and WACO will both be in action when they face off with each other in a Superconference dual Thursday. Mid-Prairie will also be on the mat Thursday in a quadrangular when they face Monticello, Clayton Ridge and Iowa City Regina.
