Washington County Conservation Board President Craig Capps was appointed to the board for his third term.

Capps took his oath of office at the monthly WCCB meeting on Thursday, “I, Craig Capps, do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the State of Iowa, and that I will faithfully and impartially, to the best of my ability, discharge all the duties of the office of the Washington County Conservation Board, as now or hereafter required by law.” He currently serves as the board’s president and is the longest serving member. He began serving on the WCCB in 2009.
