The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls basketball teams are back at Hillcrest Union Friday night when Louisa-Muscatine comes to town.

The IMS girls stand at 6-6 on the year after a 57-46 win over Lone Tree on Tuesday. IMS was led in the win by Suzanna Yoder with a game high 25 points. On the season, Yoder leads IMS and all of class 1A at 26 points per game. Her 52 assists are also best on the team and 10th in class 1A. Yani Gutierrez leads IMS on the glass with 89 rebounds, ninth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference.

Louisa-Muscatine comes in with an overall record of 6-7, they were beaten by Highland Tuesday 60-49. Kylee Sanders leads the Falcons, scoring 18 points per game, fourth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Her 41 assists are best on the team and sixth in the Superconference. She also leads the team on the glass with 124 rebounds, fourth in the SEISC. These two teams met in November with L-M taking a 73-47 win in Letts.

The Iowa Mennonite boys enter the night with an overall record of 7-3 after a 57-55 setback at Lone Tree on Tuesday. Kobe Borntrager led IMS in the loss with 17 points. For the year, IMS is led by Eli Ours, scoring 14 points per game, 10th in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Caleb Gingerich has the team lead with 64 assists, second in the Superconference. On the glass, Jeremy Niemeyer has gathered 70 rebounds, seventh in the Superconference.

The Louisa-Muscatine boys are 3-8 on the year. They dropped their last game to Highland 66-52 on Tuesday. Alex Yerington leads the Falcons, scoring 16 points per game, sixth in the Superconference. Yerington is also the team leader with 59 boards. Karson Cantrell has the team lead with 32 assists, seventh in the SEISC. These two teams met earlier this year with IMS taking a 73-41 win in Letts.
