The fire trucks will be moved outside to make way for thousands of pancakes in Washington Wednesday. Cases of batter, gallons of milk, and thousands of eggs will be turned into pancakes at the Washington Fire Station for the annual Pancake Day fundraiser. Each year the Washington Fire Department serves fried eggs, sausage patties, and pancakes to raise funds. Last year, approximately 1,900 meals were served. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and supper will be 5 to 7 p.m.
