Three area fire departments responded to a tractor on fire in a hog confinement near Brighton on Monday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 10:32 a.m. authorities were notified of a fire in the 1000 grid of Yew Avenue. A tractor had caught fire inside a hog confinement building. Brighton Fire Department responded and requested mutual aid from the Wayland and Washington fire departments. The fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
