A truck at a Riverside farm is considered a total loss following a fire Thursday.

The Washington County Communications Center received reports at approximately 6:22 p.m. of a truck in flames at 83 North Boise Street. Riverside Chief Chad Smothers says the truck was parked close to another vehicle and building. The fire spread to the adjacent vehicle but was extinguished before reaching the building. Smothers says the cause of the fire is believed to be a mechanical issue with the truck. The second vehicle that caught fire sustained moderate damage.
