The deadline for current high school juniors to apply for the 2012 Hills Bank and Trust Company Leadership Grants from the Iowa 4-H Foundation is next week.  These grants are for those who live or attend school in Washington, Keokuk, Iowa, Johnson and Louisa Counties and planning on going to college in the fall of 2013.  Those applying will be evaluated on their involvement in community service, student group activities, work experience, and high school academic information.

Recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used at any of Iowa’s accredited universities, colleges, or community colleges.  The deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 1st.  Applications and detailed information can be found via a link here.
