Two Wellman residents have been named as the newest members of the American Angus Association. Gracie Hershberger and Halli Hershberger were announced as the national organization’s new junior members earlier this week.

With the new designation, the two are now eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the organization, and take part in association-sponsored shows and other national or regional events.

The American Angus Association is the nation’s largest beef breed organization, serving more than 22,000 active adult and junior members. Their extensive breed registry grows by more than 300,000 animals each year. The Association also provides programs and services to farmers and ranchers who rely on Angus to produce quality genetics for the beef industry and quality beef for consumers.
