Anna B. Willer was born July 6, 1925, in Dawkelanowo, in the Ural Mountains of Russia She was the daughter of Jacob and Katharina Rempel Willer.

She migarated to the United States through Canada. She moved to Kalona in 1953 and lived there until moving to Milwaukee in 1960.

Anna enjoyed crocheting, knitting, working with flowers and fishing. She sold her hand work at the Fall Festivals for several years.

She married Roy Dumke on April 3, 1971 and lived in Milwaukee until returning to Kalona 2 years ago. While in Milwaukee she was employed at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital for 26 years. She was employed at the University of Iowa Hospitals for 7 years prior to moving to Milwaukee.

Surviving are her sister, Elizabeth Zinn of Kalona and her brother, Joe and wife Barbara Ann Willer of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, two step children, Rosie Dumke of Trever, WI and John and wife Linda Dumbe of Trever,WI. Her very special friend who was so helpful to her during her years in Kalona is Virgina Shalla. Anna considered her to be an “adopted daughter”.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roy on Feb. 14, 2004
