Two arrests have been made in connection with search warrants that were executed in Louisa County last week.

According to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement searched homes in Oakville at 210 3rd Street and 209 6th Street,  and also in Wapello at 218 North Main Street and  12555 105th Street.

Evidence found during the searches led to the arrest of 45-year-old Anthony W. Sill for manufacturing methamphetamine in excess of five grams, a Class B Felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Sill has made his initial appearance and is being held at the Louisa County Jail on a $130,000 bond. Anthony’s wife, 44-year-old Tina L Sill, was arrested for possession of meth. She was released following her initial appearance at the Louisa County Courthouse. The investigation is ongoing.

Law enforcement agencies assisting with the investigation include Columbus Junction Police Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Investigation, Johnson County Drug Task Force, Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, Muscatine County Drug Task Force, Washington-Louisa County Drug Task Force, Wapello Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Police Department, Oakville Fire Department and Wapello Ambulance.
