Washington School District staff members and marching band seniors will be honored this week. The first home football game of the year will be both staff appreciation night and band senior night. This season’s marching band show is called Dante’s Ascent and was composed by senior John Flannery, “My eighth grade year we did the show Dante’s Descent, so it’s kind of like a sequel almost to that. I felt it was just kind of an inspirational starting point.” The band is led by drum majors Audrey Wubbena and Hunter Rarick.
