An agreement for final design services for a bridge in Washington County was approved by the board of supervisors this week. The design is for a pretensioned prestressed concrete beam bridge in Dutch Creek Township near the Dublin store. The contract with Calhoun-Burns and Associates, Inc., is for $23,890, including bridge design and drafting, as well as road plans. Preliminary work was previously submitted by this company for this project.

After this design work is complete, the final plans will be submitted to the county and the Iowa Department of Transportation for letting.
