The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks traveled to Camanche on Monday for a make up River Valley Conference basketball doubleheader with the Indians. 

In the girls contest, Camanche started quickly, putting together a 13-3 run that spanned the entire first quarter. The Indians would hold a 23-15 lead at the half. Camanche had an answer for every Golden Hawk run in the second half, not allowing the Hawks to put together a push. Caitlyn Riggan and Myah Lugar led Mid-Prairie with 12 points each. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 10-6 on the year.

The Mid-Prairie boys were beaten by a 72-43 count. The first half doomed the Hawks with the Indians outscoring Mid-Prairie 14-6 in the first quarter and 21-6 in the second to roll to a 35-12 halftime lead. The Hawks were unable to get closer in the second half, dropping the game by 29. Cale Robertson led Mid-Prairie with 13 points, Ethan Trimpe had 10. With the loss Mid-Prairie is now 8-7 on the year.
