The Louisa County Fairground will hopefully have a new addition soon. The Fair Board is gathering capital to build a Youth Center at the fairgrounds. Community Bank donated $25,000 to the cause. Sam Bell the Market President at the bank’s Columbus Junction location says they are proud to support the efforts of the Louisa County Fair and 4-H activities. The Fair Board says the fund raising efforts have been very successful with donations from other businesses, as well as individual and family donations. They say groundbreaking for the new center is on track for 2012.
