A view of the plans for Sitler Drive.

Crews have been working on Sitler Drive and the new auditorium project at Washington High School this summer. Superintendent Jeff Dicks explains Sitler Drive should be done up to the softball field and high school entrance by the time school starts. He adds all of the streets around the high school should also be open. Work is being done to widen Sitler from 18 feet to 31 feet, and add curbs and gutters.

The auditorium construction will limit the amount of parking available during the school year. The superintendent recommends checking out the set up before school starts so students have an understanding of what is available.
