press play to hear from Trooper Jason Marlow

This year’s late harvest is causing headaches for people besides farmers. Trooper Jason Marlow with the Iowa State Patrol says there has been an increase in car accidents involving deer, partially because farm implements are keeping them on the move. Marlow says there is normally an increase in accidents this time of year because it’s mating season for the deer and hunters also keep them on the move. He says if you think you’re going to hit a deer it’s best just to apply your breaks and not swerve.
