The West Ditch in Kalona, which had its naming rights put up for auction, has a final name set to be approved. Salvesen Creek was the name chosen by the winning bidder, and that name has already been approved by the City Council.

At the City Council meeting on Monday, Council members gave approval to the City Administrator, Ryan Schlabaugh to begin a project to name the ditches in the city.
