Exit Exams for High School Students

Under a reform package passed by the House, students graduating High School would have to take exit exams in English, Algebra, Biology, and History. It hasn’t been decided if the exams would prevent a student from passing a course or graduating, or if the exam would factor into the students grade in that course.

Visit with Public Policy Advisor Well Received

As previously reported by KCII, members from the Washington and Fairfield Chambers of Commerce visited with Phil Wise, the Public Policy Advisor to the Director of the Department of Education for Iowa earlier this week in Des Moines.
